Styling Colorful Moto Jackets for Spring

A killer moto jacket is the ultimate wardrobe enhancer. It adds a touch of instant sophistication when paired with any other pieces – from jeans to dresses- and without looking like it’s trying too hard, can do wonders for your figure.

It’s ideal to have one investment moto jacket in a neutral color. This would be one made from superior fabric and taken to the tailor so it’s perfectly fitted to your body.  But more affordable pieces in a variety of fun colors can add femininity to your style and allow you to experiment with trends when creating new outfits this spring.

I use moto jackets I have found at Marshall’s , Burlington Coat Factory, T.J.Maxx, and thredUP.com as layering pieces throughout the year.

I’ve gotten a lot of use out of this  purple jacket. I’ve worn it with jeans, leggings, and  most recently to dress down a cocktail dress from Express.

I love adding a bright pop of color with this jacket. It goes great with skirts, pants, and dresses like this one from Nine West.

I found these gorgeous , colorful moto jackets at polyvore.com. I had a lot of fun putting together spring outfits for each one. All items and links used are currently available on the polyvore site.

And as much as I love these colorful moto jackets , and am trying to decide on which color to add to my collection next , I do know I will still be pulling out my classic black version this spring.

Thanks, as always, for your time and attention. Hope it inspires you to be creative and have some fun with new looks this spring.

Yours truly,

Jennifer
