Ode to Betsy Johnson
I’ve always loved her style and colorful way of expressing her personality. When I was a little girl my mom ( noticing I marched to a different beat ) took me to one of her shops in Providence, RI and told me to go to college, work hard, and I could actually afford to shop there ! I wanted to share some of my favorite Betsy quotes, photos, and outfits which include her lovely items! Hope you enjoy 😉

What the Kindergarten Teacher Wore/ Part 3/ Bye-Bye to Summer
Summer is absolutely my favorite season , and I especially love being able to simply grab a dress, sandals, and a few ( or a lot) of accessories and pull a look together. Here are some of the outfits I wore to work and around town these past couple of weeks. I am slowly accepting the fact that fall is here and hope to turn some of my favorite summer dresses into fall- appropriate styles 😉 … Stay tuned …
What the Kindergarten Teacher Wore- Part 2
This time of year can be tricky to dress for because going back to school makes us feel like it should be fall, but the temperatures are still quite warm. We’ve had extremely hot weather lately, which I actually love, but it can be challenging to look professional and stay cool. I wore lots of dresses and fun accessories the last couple of weeks. I found the dresses on the website https://www.thredup.com I love that I always find designer dresses 70% off retail price and they are always in perfect condition. Take a look at these recent purchases and how I styled them. A lot of the jewelry you see is from my web boutique luluavenue.com/sites/mommyteacherfashionista/PWOHOME.aspx .

What The Kindergarten Teacher Wore- Week 1- Colorful Dresses and Separates
I eagerly anticipated the first week of school with my new students. I planned outfits that were colorful, fun, and also comfortable for building inside on 90 degree days ( no air conditioner ) !!
It was a great week ! The children arrived happy and we are starting to get into our routines. We are already a family in Room 3 at Harry Kizirian School.
I have to say , one of the highlights of my week was a visit from my former students… they came into the room on Friday and helped to teach new students the proper kindergarten behaviors. #lovedit #toocute
Thanks for checking out my teacher style ! See you soon! 😉
