Outfit Inspiration: Styling Cowboy Boots

Cowboy boots can be the most versatile footwear you have in your closet. They are not just for those living out west and it’s so easy to create fun looks with them without looking like you are auditioning for a Dukes of Hazard movie.

Today I decided to wear my Dingo brand boots ( found at thredUP.com at 70% off of course) because of the turquoise design which I thought complimented the bright colors and patterns within the dress.

The children in my kindergarten class loved this fun , bright outfit. They were so cute, telling me they liked the boots and that they were going to get cowboy / cowgirl boots too.

They are easy to wear in the spring and summer with just a simple dress and jacket. These basic brown boots are from Target and available year round.

I found some really intricate , detailed options at polyvore.com in both brown and red. They can be found at 6pm.com.

I love the classic look of jeans or jean shorts with cowboy boots. To me , it feels very ‘All American’ and classic for just about any casual event this time of year.

I love the way they can spice up a classic trench coat and dress and still keep the overall look elegant.

Adding a denim jacket to a look involving cowboy boots seems right to me, but I always like to add interesting accessories to keep it looking fresh and new , rather than same old and ordinary.

It’s easy to pair cowboy boots with a casual maxi dress. I love this one from nordstromrack.com.

Thanks so much for visiting the blog today.

As always , I appreciate your time and attention and hope you feel inspired to create some new looks of your own.

Yours truly ,

Jennifer

  1. I feel like a goon in cowboy boots 😩 I did however get a pair in high school that were teal. I couldn’t decide if I wanted boots or to get my tongue pierced. My parents were thrilled with the boots 😂
