Simply Styled Day to Night LBD

First of all , the B is for ‘Blue’ because, although we all love a Little Black Dress, this shade of blue can be quite refreshing for both day and night this time of year. 

I found this Express dress at thredUP.com new with tags for less than $23.00. The blazer is from Target. I like the way the blazer adds a professional touch and contrasts nicely with the femininity of the dress. The two pieces together give the look personality and class.

    
    
   
It’s not always easy to wear strappy high heel sandals ( or even allowed in some work places) all the time, so I’ll have these on for most of the day- 

 
These are the most comfortable , adorable ballet flats I’ve seen and are available at stylebop.com. They come in lots of colors and I actuallykeep a pair in my classroom closet for emergencies. You know the kind of emergency I mean ,right ? Did you ever decide to wear a beautiful pair of very cute high heeled shoes and then by recess time you remember that they are  not the most practical to teach in ? That is a kindergarten teacher / fashionista emergency situation in which I easily solve with these fabulous shoes.  
 

I will admit , I do prefer this pair of Office Angel Tubular Strap Sandals from office.co.uk , and in a perfect world they would be just as comfortable as the flats.
